Khevalin Parekh is on the cusp of completing her Law Honours degree at Flinders University, having successfully attained her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Leo Cussen Centre of Law. Expected to be admitted as a practitioner at the Supreme Court of South Australia by February 2024, Khevalin’s educational trajectory underscores her dedication to legal proficiency.
Throughout her academic journey, Khevalin garnered multiple awards and emerged victorious in university skills-based competitions encompassing negotiation, client interview, and moot court exercises. These accomplishments underscore her adeptness in communication and problem-solving.
Khevalin’s legal journey is enriched by her internship at a community legal clinic, exposing her to diverse legal realms including minor civil claims, family law, and employment law, among others. Her roles as a tutor, contracts officer, and facilitator of legal workshops within high school programs showcase her commitment to legal education and engagement.
Active in legal associations, Khevalin is a member of the Asian Australian Lawyers Association and contributed as part of the general committee of the Flinders Law Students Association.
