Paris was admitted to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor in the Supreme Court of South Australian in 2011. Paris was also admitted to the High Court of Australia.
Prior to her admission and following the completion of a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) at the University of Adelaide in 2008, Paris worked in a boutique accounting firm for a period of time.
In 2011, Paris commenced her role as a Law Clerk in private practice whilst concurrently undertaking her studies to complete a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
Following her admission, Paris commenced her role as a Solicitor and has been working in private practice since 2011.
Paris has a particular interest in Criminal Law and Personal Injury matters. She has worked closely with Counsel in complex Criminal and Personal Injury matters and has acted as instructing Solicitor to Counsel and Senior Counsel in cases in various courts and tribunals, including the South Australian Employment Tribunal, the Magistrates Court of South Australia, the District Court of South Australia and Full Court of the Supreme Court of South Australia.
Paris displays an ability to confidently present legal argument, to think critically and to carefully analyse evidence. Paris also assists clients in a straightforward, calm and professional manner so as to ensure her clients achieve a timely, cost-effective and successful outcome.
